🌩️ Asus Laptop Keys Not Working

The keyboard worked fine for the first few weeks I had it, but suddenly 2 weeks ago the same 4 keys malfunctioned for me. This keyboard does not have a NUM_LOCK key and ASUS has no references to the problem. Have only had the computer for about one month, USB keyboard works fine but cumbersome with laptop. Any other suggestions?
Solution. #2. The only other thing would be to find a way to keep it from overheating. Which would be the smarter option anyway, as overheating can do more than mess with your keyboard. Recently (last few months) some keys began to stop working at times (Mainly Q,1,TAB, ).They can work fine even for hours (rarely) but most of the time they stop working and I have to press them for about 10 seconds for them to work,after that they maybe work normally for about a minute
Maybe the keys are just mixed up due to the settings not being set properly. I just got a new computer a few days ago. It's an Asus with Windows 10, and the f# keys aren't working. For example: The brightness keys just highlight the website address and the volume keys open up.

The actions performed by the function keys (F1 - F12) is controlled by the manufacturer of your laptop, not Windows. If you press the Fn key + the volume Up/Down key does that produce the correct action? If so, then pressing the Fn key + Esc should toggle the need to use the Fn key with the function keys . . .
